I have a lot of data. How long does it take to get Select Star up & running?

Once you create and connect your service accounts, it takes up to 24 hours for Select Star to be fully updated. We'll email you when it's done!

How secure is Select Star?

Select Star requires minimal data in order to operate with customer DWH and BI tools, including only the metadata and query history.

Select Star service is 3rd-party audited for SOC 2 Type II on Security, Confidentiality, and Availability. When a company is SOC 2 compliant, it guarantees that there are organizational practices in place to safeguard the privacy and security of customer information. I have a lot of data, but don't need all the user seats (or vice versa).

That's why we have overage: you can buy extra tables or users as you need, after the base plan.

How often does Select Star get updated?

We maintain the freshness of our metadata and activity logs with automatic updates every 24 hours. Admin users can also "Sync Metadata" at any time.
